Who wore it better? Natasha Poonawala vs Rosie Huntington Whitley, in Gucci.

At the GQ Men of The Year Awards, we had our first Indian sighting of an outfit from the very successful Gucci Fall 2011 collection on Natasha.

The socialite did total justice to the outfit; the olive toned mustard top and sheer skirt
(Which she wore with an underlay) was perfectly styled with gathered and side swept hair and spot on make up. The dress was earlier spotted on Super model Rosie Huntington Whitley at the 'Transformer' Moscow premiere.

Although I think Rosie rocked the dress like how it was meant be worn, I much prefer Natsha's styling -it shows of the shoulder detailing. Do you have a favourite?

In Mary Katrantzou! Alexa Chung.

It's the label's second sighting this week and I'm ecstatic.

This was one of my favourite collections, and I'm so glad the young fashionistas (Keira Knightley, Leelee Sobieski and now Alexa) are embracing it.

The 'Lily Pond' dress with multiple prints and patters were exciting enough on their own, and Alexa is not know to add accessories to her outfits; which is just as well since the dress has so much character.. I really wish she had taken more care about her hair though.

Deepika Padukone at GQ Men of the Year Awards, 2011.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen!

Dressed in a head to toe embellished white gown with a thigh high slit, red lips and carefully arranged messy do would have been an ideal siren alert from Deepika, but in this case one look was all it took to know that it was anything but.

The fit of the gown was way off, an ill fitting bust, waist that seemed too fitted and the length of the gown begging for an inch or two more, nothing worked for me about this look. With a face and a body like that, how can anyone go so wrong!

Freida Pinto at GQ Men of the Year Awards 2011.

Freida attended the GQ event dressed in an embellished black Versace gown with feather details at the hem.

As far as red carpet outings went, this wasn't Freida's finest, but coupled with pulled back hair, red lips and drop earrings, it still was paparazzi worthy look.

In DIor - Anushka Sharma at GQ Men of the Year Awards, 2011.

I'm beginning to think Anushka is a Dior girl at heart when it comes to evening gowns.

At the GQ Awards last night, she gave us something different in way of soft green gown with ruffles and embellishments on the bust with sheer draped shoulder details.

Used to seeing Anushka in solids with minimalistic designs, this one is different and paired with pale pink lips and loose curls, she pulls it off well.

A put together story, finally! Priyanka Chopra.

In what seemed like a gazillion appearances ago, before all the short dresses and mini skirts happened to her sightings after sightings, I remember Priyanka mixing things up a bit.

Very glad to see this look of hers, the white strapless jumpsuit is oh so right for Mumbai summer night, she gets it right in the styling, wish this phase lasts.

Kirsten Dunst at 'Melancholia' UK Premiere.

The Fashion Fabulous Kirsten Dunst attended the premiere of her movie in UK.

I called her fashion fabulous because, when Kirsten is in her element, there is very little that can go wrong, and at this event, she was fully in her element.

She took to the red carpet in Honor Spring 2012 dress, with sheer collar and neck details framing the face and a corset bust base and voluminous skirt. The dress is right up Kirsten's style alley; it has a vintage, whimsical vibe to it, yet the color and prints stopping it from going the too pretty route.

I loved her hair, make up and how she accessorised the look.

Androgynous best! Evan Rachel Wood.

Ah! To do sexy menswear trend and get it bang on every time.

It was an all white YSL jacket and suit paired with a sexy black corset for Evan Rachel Wood at the premiere of ' her movie.

The actress has perfected how to do androgynous look with a feminine touch, the fitted corset, Smokey make up and layered necklaces makes no bones about bringing sexy into the look. I love this, what’s not to love?

PS: Did I mention I did the purposefully messed up hairdo?

Back to basics! Deepika Padukone.

Attending Ranbir Kapoor's birthday bash was Deepika Padukone, dressed in while blouse tucked in and dark denims.

The look however was anything basics. The lace and crochet button down blouse with billowy sleeves and fitted dark denims were paired with red lips ,  pulled back hair and  completing the look was a hardware clutch. We Like.

Who wore it better? Anna Faris or Lady Gaga.

Well, good going Anna Faris! It's not every day that one gets on board with Lady Gaga for wearing the same outfit, but then, this is one of the most normal that we have seen Gaga do.

At the David Letterman shoot, Anna chose to wear the same Moschino peplum dress which was earlier seen on Lady Gaga on the backstage of iHeart RadioMusic Awards.

Both styled the looks differently, Anna was on trend with her cap toe hardware Mary Janes by Louboutin, while Gaga dressed it up by adding baubles and giving it a retro twist with gloves and pinned up hair.

I liked both. You?

In Angel Sanchez - Archie Panjabi.

It's not often  we have a sighting of Archie Panjabi - the actress attended the MET opening night dressed in a black Angel Sanchez gown.

I liked the silhouette on her, only wish the corset sat a bee little high and she had skipped then neckpiece altogether.

Leger, again!

What is a bash hosted for Paris Hilton and attended by Mumbai's socialites and Bollywood crowd if not for a Leger sighting or two?

Sporting Herve Leger dresses at the do were Rhea Pillai and Queenie Singh. Paired with unexciting accessories and barely there styling, neither made any great impact, why aren’t we surprised!

In Victoria Beckham! Demi Moore.

Demi took an unexpected detour from her red carpet staple black, while attending the Variety Annual Power for Women event.

The soft Pink dress by Victoria Beckham had white cross shoulder details, which are not seen on the pictures thanks to Demi's hair. I wasn't sure if I liked her pairing this dress with the Alexandre Birman heels, but it kind of grew on me, way better than pairing it with nude heels, right?

Leelee Sobieski - In Mary Katrantzou.

Mama Mia!

It was instant love for me when I saw the photos of Leelee Sobieski at the Opening Night of Metropolitan gala.

One to always do her red carpet appearance differently, Leelee did not disappoint again, the printed jacquard dress from Mary Katrantzou was Fab, with its fitted waist and bell shaped skirt and an underskirt.

I like that she pulled back her hair to let the dress take the centre stage, and wish she had worn a lighter pair of boots, but that takes nothing away from how FAB this look is.

In Prabal Gurung - Anna Paquin.

I'm so used to seeing Anna wear Alexander McQueen on almost all of her red carpet appearances; it took me a moment to realize she was in Prabal Gurung.

Its a look that stood out for its simplicity and chic, I love the pink and contrasting black on Anna, Judith Leiber clutch and side swept hair completed her look.

Lanvin blues! Madhoo Shah.

Madhoo shah attended bridal fashion week followed by Paris Hilton Bash dresses in a deep blue strapless dress by Lanvin.

This look of hers was way better than most of her recent ones, she looked lovely knee up, I'm not really digging the matching blue heels though.

Striking Show Stopper - Sarah Jane Dias.

Well folks! there are show stoppers and then there are show stoppers. The first kind, given the number of fashion weeks and fashion tours in India with almost every designer opting for a bollywood star, isn't saying much. The second kind was what Gavin Miguel's show stopper at Blender's Pride Fashion Tour in Hyderabad.

Sarah Jane Dias knocked the ball right out of the park, the hair, make up, fabulous attitude and the glitter heels. The girl looked Fierce and we loved it!

In Escada - Bar Rafaeli

We are used to seeing the supermodel usually do sexy on the red carpet, at the Escada event the look she chose came as a surprise, a pleasant one at that.

The cropped jacket and palazzo pants in soft pastels were a standout and she accessorised it well with a golden cuff.

Like.

The Long and short of Black - Sushmita Sen & Ramona Rodella.

At the bash hosted for Paris Hilton in Mumbai, these two ladies opted to go the black way.

Compared to Sushmita, Ramona fared way better. The fitted halter gown will be our choice (if pushed for one) over the LBD Sushmita had on. Between the sheer bust, covered neck and the bejewelled detail in the front - the look was one hot mess.

In Guari & Nainika - Vidya Malvade at Paris Hilton Bash.

Remember how this collection of the designer duo was all over bollywood at one time?

Paired with a Bottega clutch, cuff and red lips, the gown was begging for a pulled back hair look. Wish Vidya had obliged.

In Versace - Kangna Ranaut at Paris Hilton Bash, Mumbai

Although we weren’t that excited about the visiting socialite’s plans in Mumbai, seems like it did interest some of Bollywood and socialite crowd in the city.

Kangna attended the bash dressed in a simple Grey Versace dress with green front panels. She paired the dress with grey clutch and cap toed heels by Ferragamo. What made it work for me was also the hair, I love that she switches it up from time to time.

FAB! Kate Bosworth in Peter Pilotto.

Easy, breezy and very summer worthy.

Kate attended Alexa Chung's collection for Madewell event dressed in a Peter Pilotto dress, from the nude clutch to the blue pumps and wavy locks, loved everything about this look.

Suzanne Roshan, at 'Mausaum' Premiere.

Although I do not have better pictures at this time, I really liked what I saw of Suzanne's look at the 'Mausam' Premiere.

The nude tone sheath looked great on the socialite, the slight structure of the cap sleeve giving character to the dress, and the metallic sling backs and metallic case clutch by Fendi perfect accessories. Like.

Changing it up! Rani Mukherjee

Actress Rani Mukherjee looked Fab at the 'Mausam' premiere, dressed in a breezy jumpsuit.

The watercolor print suit looked great on the actress, making her look leaner, I liked that she carried a contrasting pink clutch by Bottega and decided to switch up the hair by going the chignon way.

Good going Rani.

Golden Girl! Jessica Chastain - 'The Debt' London Premiere.

At the London Première of her movie 'The Debt' Jessica changed up her usual choice of solids and chose to shine in gold.

Rightfully so, when you know you can look this good! The molten gold Vivienne Westwood patterned dress is an absolute knockout on the actress, the famed neckline and structured hips of the dress complimenting her body type.

Jessica completed her look with nude Jimmy Choos, swept up hair with teased bangs, drop earrings and we loved it all!

In Prabal Gurung! Sonam Kapoor at the Premiere of 'Mausam'

Those who have been on this blog before sure know I've been dying for one of the bollywood fashionistas to sport Prabal Gurung.

Who better than resident style icon Sonam Kapoor you ask? It was an anti climax of sort for me to see Sonam in the label finally, the Blast bow pink bust and tiered black skirt from the resort line would have been right down Sonam's slightly unconventional style alley, but what a let down the hair and make up been.

Underwhelmed. Love the dress though.

Cuteness Overload! Hailee Steinfeld.

Hailee totally brought on the teenage memories for me in this recent look of hers, the black top with white neck detail and the sequin black skirt totally had me wishing I could go a decade back.

Hailee is wearing Carven paired with Nicholas Kirkwood shoes.

Maternity Glam! Lara Dutta at Akshay Kumar's Speedy Singh Bash.

Turning up in some serious preggers style was mom - to - be Lara, in a trending Blue and White combo. The fitted Herve Leger skirt paired with bow blouse and multi layered neckpiece showed Lara still got it.

She completed her look with Valentino Bow pumps in nude and a Louis Vuitton clutch.

Sequin Charm! Sonam Kapoor at Akshay Kumar's Speedy Singh Bash.

Of the Bollywood celebs who showed up galore at Akshay Kumar's bash, Sonam was most definitely the stand out for me.

While most would have gone shrugless with the fitted black skirt and corset -esque top, Sonam kept the cropped shrug on - balancing the silhouette of the skirt and giving the whole look very flattering angles. Love the hair, and addition of Bottega.

Casual Chic! Keira Knightley.

Doing Traditional! Sonam Kapoor.

All through the promotional dos of her upcoming movie 'Mausam' Sonam has been changing it up constantly and giving us flashbulb worthy looks.

The Anamika Khanna suit in punchy fuchsia and orange is another such look and we dig. Big Time!

Bollywood Show Stoppers.

At the ongoing Blenders Pride Tour IN Delhi, Anusha and Minissha took to the ramp as show stoppers for Wendel Rodricks and Renyu Tandon.

Both the ladies wore their looks well, although the outfits weren'treally setting the tour on fire. Added points for Minissha for not letting all that fabric overwhelm her frame!

Instant Love! Instant! Evan Rachel Wood.

At the movie premiere of ' The Ides of March' Evan Rachel Wood stunned in an unconventional white gown.

I'm beginning to suspect Evan likes to do unorthodox red carpet appearances, the gorgeous Alessandra Rich gown with a shirt dress design and lace panelled bust  and banded waist was punchy, fun, elegant and suited the actress to the T!

I would have chosen nude/ silver heels with it, but then, not many would have chosen this gown to walk the Venice Film Festival red carpet, right? The footwear choice takes nothing away from her look.

Its pure love, for me!

Some Prabal Love! Sarah Jessica Parker.

Oh Boy! That’s some love for Prabal Gurung, from SJP.

For the second time this week, Sarah made appearance in yet another Prabal Gurung dress, this time at the London Promotions.

The V neck dress with multi colored layer design is a summer worthy dress, one that instantly cheers up the room and makes SJP look fresh and lively.

It’s such a happy dress and she obviously feels like a million bucks from the pics, what’s not to love?

The shoes are by Charlotte Olympia.
