Wearing Animal Print - Nauheed Cyrusi.

At the Grazia event, one of the looks I liked was Nauheed's.

The background made it impossible to look at any of the looks without color distraction, but I think Nauheed had a much put together ensemble and looked svelte.

Her outfit had animal print bust and highwaisted black skirt, and she went sans jewellery to highlight the drama of the top. She kept her hair pulled back, completing the look with loop earrings and booties.  It’s a move that paid off, keeping the rest of the look simple to play up the drama.

ON THE FENCE - Lara Dutta.

Lara Dutta was spotted wearing a white dress from BCBG at a recent music launch.

The Chiffon dress had a black sash waist detail and tiers; I think Lara wore the dress well. She paired the dress with a black clutch, drop earrings and dewy make up.

 

Global Style Wars - Michelle Poonawalla & Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift appeared on the Tonight show with Jay Leno last night in the same dress worn by Michelle Poonawalla early this year.

The polka dotted red and black chiffon strapless dress was by Dolce & Gabbana. Taylor wore the dress with Dolce & Gabbana triple Mary Janes.

Miss India Wars? Sarah Jane Dias & Parvathy Omanakuttan.

Both the Ex- Miss Indias attended the Times of India event and opted for very different looks.

The similarity ended with their titles, Sarah brought trendy and fierce to her look, while Parvathy was just, blah.

Parvathy wore a black tux jacket with washed denims and metallic sandals. The look was very unimaginative to say the least, the shine on the jacket and her camisole, the shoes and the denims were all so wrong.

Sarah on the other hand, wore a printed fitted dress with strong shoulder details
(hidden by her hair) and accessorised with wrapped heels. Her make up and hair was spot on - she chose smoky eyes and loose curls. THE HAIR! lets hope she doesn’t get converted and opt to get stuck in the Bollywood hair mould.

In Victoria Beckham - Kelly Ripa.

Another day, another Victoria Beckham dress sighting and I’m not complaining.

Kelly Ripa looked delish in the hot pink dress which she paired with nude Sergio Rossi shoes.

I loved how the dress looked on her, loved the lines, loved the silhouette, and loved the color.

 LOVE LOVE LOVE.

OH NO! SHE DIDN'T!! Jena Malone.

It seems like a game of one step right and one step left for Jena when it comes to fashion.

After dazzling us with her recent outing in UK, Jena did an about turn by wearing something that was so - meh.

Don't get me wrong. I loved the Cushnie et Ochs white dress, navy blazer and the Fuchsia shoes combo. The dress is summary and light and the fuchsia and navy against the white is fabulous. It’s the length of the blazer that made this look a fail, Jena got her proportions wrong and paid for it.

Wearing Orange - Akanksha Nanda.

Akanksha Nanda wore a burnt Orange dress with one shoulder and drape detail at the Grazia event.

It was a look that worked, save the shoes. The silhouette with belted waist suited her frame and she kept the look simple. Yay for changing up the hair!
