Improvement? Ameesha Patel.

At the India International Jewellery Week , Ameesha made an appearance in a one shouldered leopard print dress which she paired with nude accessories.

Considering few looks she has given in the past, I would say this one is a much improved look, what with no baby doll silhouette or little girl lost look. That's not to say I loved this look, the dress was quite the meh for me, with the pink lips and the hair and rest of make up not doing anything great for the actress.

Jumpsuit FAB! Sandra Bullock.

The fabulous Sandra Bullock made a rare appearance (Don’t remember her at a public appearance after Academy Awards?) at the movie premiere of her friend's movie.

Sandra wore a strapless black jumpsuit from Lanvin - which she paired with black sleek sandals. The look was presented edgier on the runway, with a studded belt and a statement neckpiece. Sandra skipped both the details and opted to wear the jumpsuit in her own no fuss style with stacked gold bracelets, which worked beautifully.

Doing Floral! Deepika Padukone.

It was English Rose print and white bow trousers for Deepika at the promotional event of her upcoming movie - Aarakshan.

Deepika kept the look relatively simple with the fitted floral top and straight legged hight waisted trousers with accentuated tie at the waist. Red flats and sleek hair completed her look, except the hair, everything else worked for me, I would have loved to see some tousled, waves to poker straight her for such a fresh, easy look.

LWD Styles! Leslie Mann & Rosamund Pike.

Got to see some serious LWD styles, thanks to Leslie and Rosamund.

Attending their respective movie events were the lovely ladies, dressed in flash worthy White dresses. Leslie wore a structured Marchesa with embellished shoulders and knotted waist details. I love that she accessorised in gold, which complimented the dress in a very big way.

Rosamund's Alexander McQueen was all about the details, Love, love the dress, with its silver zipper that ran across the waist and closed in the front, which makes it look like a slim silver belt at first look. I loved the texture of the dress as we can see it, and the actress rightfully kept the look sans loud accessories to let the dress do all the talking.

Golden Girls! Priya Kataria Puri & Queenie Singh.

At the India International Jewellery Week, both Priya and Queenie wore outfits in the rich metal shade, albeit styled differently.

Priya wore a gold lame' inspired gown (from her label?) which she tied with an embellished tassel belt at the waist and accessorised with a matching gold head gear and exquisite pearl jewellery. I think neck - up she looked beautiful, that belt wasn’t for me. 

Queenie on the other hand was somewhat on a path of redemption, dressed in an embellished gold sequin dress (Monisha Jaisingh) with a belted waist, Queenie was styled well (read sanely, no too cakey make up or OTT accessories).

In Balenciaga - Anna Wintour.

After a long while, we have a sighting of Anna Wintour - wearing her one of her favourites - Balenciaga.

Anna wore the dress a tad differently from how it was presented on the runway, skipping the thin belt. I like the slight exaggeration of structure at the shoulders and skirt, and the statement neckpiece.

Runway Stunner! Kangna Ranaut.

It’s no secret that Ms.Ranuat can give a model a run for her money, when she takes to the runway.

At the India International Jewellery week, many stars walked the ramp, but none made a mark like Kangna did, she looked FIERCE in a red dress with gold motifs and contrasting hem. I would have liked to see a lot less of gold, but considering the objective is to showcase gold, I will just shut up and let Kangna take this round.
