Instant Like! Mallika Sherawat at the White House Dinner.

How fabulous does Mallika look!

At the Annual White House Correspondence Association Dinner hosted by President Barack Obama, Mallika was resplendent in a White Shahab Durazi dress.

Gone were the bling, OTT hair and make up.

FAB!

Spring ready! Tory Burch.

Wearing an Erdem floral dress, Tory gave a very summer worthy look by sporting another label.

I loved all the dresses from this collection of Erdem (Lust Lust) and have seen a variation of the same dress on Emily Browning at the Sucker Punch promotion.

Tory wore the look well, matching the dress with multi colored sandals.

Instant Like! Ellen Barkin.

Seems like Ellen Barkin has a soft spot for this silhouette, but why not?

She looks like a billion bucks and that green eyed monster worthy rocking body!

Catch Ellen in another L'Wren Scott in here

Bollywood/Hollywood - Mallika Sherawat.

Of late, Ms.Sherawat has been giving us more sightings in Hollywood than in Bollywood.

The very obvious silk shawl aside, I really liked this look of Mallika's, the print and the color of the maxi/dress was to die for and the make up and hair were in sync with the outfit.

In Vera Wang - Leighton Meester.

In her second Vera Wang sighting  last week, Leighton dazzled in a gleaming chocolate draped dress which she paired with golden pumps.

Although the pumps seem to take a bit of attention away from the dress, Leighton was a stunner.

The same Brian Atwood pumps were also seen on Emma Roberts a month ago.

Who wore it Better? Neha Dhupia vs. Rihanna.

At the DKMS 5th Gala, Rihanna was in a look which was very reminiscent of Neha's look at Zee Cine Awards.

Both walked the red carpet in tiered dramatic black gowns with similar silhouettes, both had hair up in chignons and both wore drop earrings.

Do you have a fav? For me, although Rihanna looked lovely, Neha is a clear winner. The dress was a dream on her, her hair, make up and accessories were bang on and it was the one of the best ( if not THE Best) I have seen Neha look.

Do you think otherwise?

Instant Like! Sridevi.

Really!

How gorgeous does Sridevi look? The pale pink and lace creation from Karen Millen does wonders to her and props for going bright on the lips, the combination of red lips and the platform heels totally work!

I say, there are quite a few current Bollywood actresses who should take tips from her.

Maheep Kapoor's Birthday Bash.

At the Royal Wedding - Victoria Beckham.

Representing the fashion frat at the Royal wedding was Victoria Beckham.

Victoria wore, predictably, a dress from her Fall collection and paired the dress with Christian Louboutin heels and Philip Treacy fascinator.

Any other preggers lady would have chosen comfortable high heels for the day, but in true VB fashion, Ms.Beckham did go all out in  6.5 inch heels!

In Prabal Gurung - Eva Mendes & Rose Byrne.

It seems Prabal Gurung was the man to cap off a very fashionable week that it was.

Eva and Rose chose to wear Prabal Gurung's Fall Collections and did the rock the red carpet!

Eva chose a White organza strapless dress with black inner bustier and black waist band. The dress was a dream and Eva channelled a soft, romantic look with her dewy make up and feminine hair do.

Rose chose a dark pink dress with a dramatic neck and shoulder details. She looked lovely and wore the entire look very well. Departing from her last poker straight locks around the face hair do, she kept the bangs straight and locks around the face softer which totally worked.

BIG LOVE!

Rocking in Red? Reese Witherspoon.

It was full on glam (relative Reese style) for Ms.Witherspoon.

Reese wore a Red Giambattista Valli dress, with stunning bust and shoulder details and tulip skirt. She paired her dress with black peep toe pumps.

Mixing it up! Leighton Meester.

Leighten is known for her style of mixing up, and didn't disappoint at her recent outing.

She wore a Vera Wang floral skirt from Fall Collection and paired it with a casual top and pumps. The combination of the fitted, sleeveless, nude top and the draped skirt is elongating Leighton's frame and I love the look!

Wearing Stripes - Sienna Miller.

Good to have a Sienna Miller sighting, and that too in our ever so favourite stripes.

Sienna went casual in striped top, skinny pants, red cardigan and a Fedora. What sealed the look for me? Those fabulous Tabitha Simmons heels.

I heart the shoes, BIG TIME.

Rocking in Red? Deepika Padukone.

Deepika Padukone attended the India's Most Desirable event in a Red draped gown and looked stunning in it.

I like the subtle make up and golden accessories. What stopped this look from being an absolute fab? The hair and tell -tale signs of the inbuilt innerwear.

Casual Chic - Emmy Rossum.

I found this basic black and white look of Ms.Rossum's so refreshingly chic. The addition of color in way of Kate Spade bag and leopard print heels upped the style quotient.

Thumbs up!

Who got it right? Asin vs. Sheetal Mafatlal.

At their recent events, both Asin and Sheetal opted for similar color palettes, Whites with blue details/accessories. Who do you think got it right?

Asin chose an off-white mini with blue waist details and black wedges, while it was a White dress with zipper details and Blue heels with fringe details for Sheetal.

On Asin, the silhouette was all wrong, it wasn't the most flattering one for her. I think Sheetal looked great in her dress; I loved the structured dress, and the addition of the blue heels in theory. Wish she had opted for another footwear though. Points for Sheetal for the Chanel quilted bag and the dress.

Red Carpet Chic! Kerry Washington.

At the TIME'S 100 Gala, Kerry washington was an elegant burst of colors.

Wearing a beautiful Malandrino gown with a front slit, Kerry kept her look soft and ultra feminine with dewy make up and pulled back hair.

LIKE.

Traditional Style - Nita Ambani.

Attending the TIME's 100 Gala were the Ambani's, and I loved Nita Ambani's traditional outfit.

The Abu -Sandeep Lehenga in White with embroidered bordered looked divine on the red carpet and Nita was a picture of elegance. I loved her accessories - the Jhumkis, bangles and Judith Leiber clutch.

BIG LOVE.

Blondes have (no) more fun? Blake Lively.

Blake Lively of the gleaming gold locks is a thing of past people, she debuted her new Red do at the Times 100 Gala.

Blake looked stunning in an ocean green/blue gown by Zuhair Murad, and it was a head to toe glam look which Blake pulled off with élan blonde or no blonde.

Go figure!

LBD wars - Anna Kendrik vs. Rose Byrne.

Last two days. Two LBD sightings. Do you have a favourite?

Anna was in Z by Zac Posen -I LOVED the dress. The plunging neck, the beautiful silhouette and how 'Black the Black' looked. However, what a let down with the rest of the look, the limp hair, non existent make -up and zero accessory made this fabulous dress into a dull look.

Rose wore a Black halter neck dress with delicate embellishments and a tulle skirt. Rose looked good; I think she kept the rest of the look minimal to let the dress take centre stage, which worked. What didn't work was Rose's hair, with so much going on with the dress, I wish she had just kept the blunt bangs and pulled back the rest of the hair.

OH NO! SHE DIDN'T !! Anu Dewan.

What the H!

was my first thought upon seeing this photo of Anu Dewan at the Polo Arena event. We have seen Karishma give us a fabulous look at the same event and I somehow missed this pic.

Ms.Dewan is sporting a Gucci 'Malika' Clutch from the Spring Summer Collection. I just can't believe someone would do that to such a fab accessory! Yiikess.

Somewhere Frida Giannini is screaming in Italian and allow me to skip the un parliamentary stuff and translate the key part. HIRE A STYLIST. If you already have one, FIRE HER.

Wearing LWD - Gwyneth Paltrow.

There are some women in this world who I think are so style gorgeous that they can have their own fashion identity and can manage not to take a single fashion misstep. Case and Point? Gwyneth Paltrow.

I have seen a million photographs of Gwyneth in  neutral dresses with clean lines and no fuss. I have always seen her wear her hair blonde. Never seen her in anything blingy or in dramatic make up or letting it all hang out.

Yet, she manages to look uber stylish and effortlessly chic every time I see a sighting of hers. And she almost always makes the look appear fresh and not give us a sense that we have seen it all before. I think that’s a sign of a true fashionista.

Gwyneth wore a Yigal Azrouel dress in white with statement shoes and looked fabulous.

SIGH.

Rocking in Red. Eva Mendes.

Eva Mendes was a stunning vision of traffic stopping glamour at the Tribeca Film Festival.

She wore a Red dress from Gucci's Fall collection and added more punch by wearing a bold lipstick. This dress had such a retro vibe, with its flowing skirt, billowing sleeves and the high neck.

BIG LOVE!

In Herve Leger - Danni Minogue,Mehr Rampal & Taraji Henson.

It was three Leger looks for these three ladies with very different styles.

Dannii went two toned in a Black and White Leger, Taraji chose a self print version while Mehr stayed with the classic bandage style. Apart from Mehr's footwear choice and Taraji's blush overload, the ladies rocked the dressess.

Erases the bad memory of Tanisha's Leger attempt at the Fashion week?

Changing it up! Freida Pinto.

It was an unexpected look for Freida at the Glamour Magazine May Issue cover by Louis Vuitton.

Needless to say, she, like many other guests were spotted in outfits from the label's Fall Collection. Freida channelled a cute and sassy look by wearing the romper with a Peter Pan collar. I think she wore the look well save for the hair. I would have liked the hair away from the face.

One Girl - Three looks! Beyonce.

Beyonce has been turning out her Parisian best one after the other, in Paris.

Do you have a favourite among these 3?

1. In Isabel Marant dress and Balmain bag.
2. In Marc Jacobs polka dot dress, Balmain bag & Christian Louboutin shoes.
3. In Roland Mouret jumpsuit.

My pick is the Marc Jacobs look. However, I really think Beyonce needs a hair color invention.

Wearing Neutrals - Neha Dhupia.

Remember how I keep going on about Bollywood beauties not changing up their poker straight tresses?

I'm not going to, in Neha's case - she is one of the few that mixes up her looks constantly. At a recent event, Neha was dressed in a nude tone dress which she paired with beige shoes and a very fashionable accessory - Dark Red lips.

LIKE.
