Gowning Glory. Cannes 2011, Day 2.

While I'm waiting for my Day 1 & 2 posts to come back on Blogger, here are a few fabulous sightings I missed out on posting.

Emily Browning looked great in an embellished Valentino at the screening of her movie. It was a departure from her fun day look; the gown was a beautiful mixture of lace, embroidery and beading. Emily went with very soft and feminine make up, which complimented the gown.

Mia Wasikowska wore a deep maroon Roland Mouret gown which spelled sophistication and elegance. Always one to opt for clean lines and simple silhouettes, this was a look that really worked on the Cannes Carpet. Mia accessorised with diamond chandelier earrings and kept her hair in an upswept chignon.

Tilda Swinton wore a Haider Ackermann gown in Navy Blue and Teal Green and looked stunning. The dress was modified from the runway version and was a perfect foil for Tilda's androgynous style and glam required for a Cannes red carpet. By the time I got to the back, I was swooning.
