Sonam Kapoor - Cannes 2011 IWC Dinner.

After walking the Cannes Red Carpet in a Jean Paul Gaultier gown, it was a Masaba Gupta sari for Sonam at the IWC presents Peter Lindbergh dinner.

Sonam chose the same color palette - Black and White - for the dinner. In many ways, this look left me with a feeling of anti - climax.

The sari seemed underwhelming, and the pleated drape was not too exciting either. But while Sonam seemed to pull both off, what really didn't work was the blouse, too much of sheen perhaps?

Loving the back though.

  1. Hey Sonam, if I were you, I would loose Masaba faster than I can say I do.

  2. Can’t believe that she would choose this polka dotted bed sheet out of all the great options, Kanjeevarams, Chanderi, Patoli etc. The drape of the skirt makes her look bottom heavy when her body looked divine in the gown. Masaba is a wrong choice for formal events if you want to be taken seriously.
