War of LWDs at Cannes – Alexa Chung vs. Rachel McAdams.

Both Alexa and Rachel attended different events at Cannes in Little White dresses. Where Rachel scored big time by wearing a very feminine dress by Maxime Simoens, Alexa walked the Red Carpet for the premier of Sleeping Beauty in a Balanciaga dress, which she paired with black suede heels.

In this case, Rachel was event appropriate for the photo call and looked beautiful, while Alexa’s look was underwhelming to say the least, at an event where everyone from Diane Kruger to Jane Fonda and Aishwarya Rai dazzled in gowns. I think a Red Carpet for a Premiere at Cannes IS worthy of a gown?
